Nebulizer: A Multifunctional Music App for iPhone
Nebulizer is a free multimedia app developed by Matthew Caldwell for iPhone users. This versatile app allows users to apply Nebulizer to live audio input or connect it with other music apps such as GarageBand, Auria, and Cubasis via Inter-App Audio or Audiobus.
Nebulizer offers several useful features, including Audiobus state saving, IAA transport controls, MIDI learn, and iOS 9+ multitasking in both split-screen and slide-over modes. With its intuitive interface, users can easily navigate through the app and access its functionalities.
It is important to note that Nebulizer does not provide an Audio Unit extension. Unfortunately, porting the underlying technology to the AUv3 environment is not practical. While this may be disappointing for some users, Nebulizer and its sibling apps are designed to work with IAA. If IAA becomes obsolete in the future, Nebulizer and its sibling apps may also be affected. However, there is always the possibility of new alternatives emerging in the future.
